In a commendable move to address the healthcare challenges faced by the Tatale Government Hospital, the Member of Parliament for Tatale Sanguli, Hon. Thomas Mbomba, has secured an anaesthesia machine at a cost of 160,000 Ghana Cedis.
The hospital had been grappling with the absence of this crucial medical equipment for over a year, compelling patients to travel to as far as Tamale, the regional capital, for necessary medical procedures.
During the official handover of the anaesthesia machine to the hospital authorities, Hon. Thomas Mbomba, who also serves as the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, expressed optimism that the new addition would significantly alleviate the burden on patients, eliminating the need for them to undertake arduous journeys to Tamale for essential healthcare.
The Member of Parliament emphasized that the anaesthesia machine would not only reduce the inconvenience faced by the residents but would also contribute to enhancing the overall quality of healthcare delivery in the region. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that healthcare services are accessible and of high quality, especially in rural areas.
The Administrator of Facility conveyed gratitude to Hon. Thomas Mbomba for his proactive efforts in addressing the pressing healthcare needs of the community. Acknowledging the numerous challenges faced by the facility, the Administrator urged the lawmaker to continue extending his support to ensure that the hospital can provide quality services to the residents.
