Farouk Mahama Launches Initiative To Dredge and Expand Dams In Yendi Constituency
The Member of Parliament for Yendi, Hon. Farouk Aliu Mahama, has taken the first step towards redredging dams that serve several communities across the Constituency.
The Napina Dam has been identified as the initial site for the redredging exercise, with the dredging team set to complete work in two days.
The primary objective of the project is to rejuvenate the water reservoir and make it more accessible for the residents of Nayilfong, Meindogu, and Kalibila.The redredging exercise aims to increase the water capacity of the dams and enhance water supply for inhabitants.
