The Sagnarigu Constituency NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Felicia Tettey, expressed her deep appreciation to the constituents for their commitment to winning the Sagnarigu Parliamentary seat.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Constituency Campaign team, she shared that despite people doubting her ability, she won 44 polling stations at the 2020 election, a feat she attributed to the unprecedented development she brought to the constituency.
Mrs. Tettey called for unity among the party’s executives and members to secure victory in the upcoming election, urging them to support Dr. Bawumia to break the 8-year cycle. She highlighted various development initiatives she has undertaken in the constituency, including dredging dams, constructing boreholes, roads, providing financial support to women’s groups, donating sewing machines and hairdryers, and building the capacity of youth and women.
Challenging her main contender, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate, to outline his contributions to the development of Sagnarigu, Mrs. Tettey emphasized her commitment to driving progress and prosperity in the constituency.
At the inaugural ceremony, Chief Alhaj Sunday, the 1st Vice Chairman of NPP for the Northern Region, urged the campaign teams to work diligently to secure victory in both the parliamentary and presidential votes. He pledged the support of the regional executives to the constituency’s campaign efforts.
Among the dignitaries present were the former Sagnarigu Constituency Chairman, Pocho, and Dr. Abdul Wahab, a former parliamentary candidate aspirant for Sagnarigu. Dr. Wahab called on his supporters to rally behind Mrs. Tettey and support her in winning the Sagnarigu seat and the presidential votes.
The Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Dagoma, expressed his excitement at the resolution of former executives and aspirants to join the campaign efforts towards winning the constituency seat, underscoring the importance of unity and collective support in achieving success.
