In a notable political shift, women groups have officially defected from
the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Katariga, located within the Sagnarigu Constituency.
The leadership of the women’s group highlighted the significant impact that Hon. Felicia Tettey, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Sagnarigu, has had on empowering women economically and providing support throughout the community.
Mma Shetu, a representative of the group, expressed their commitment to the NPP, stating that they have witnessed the positive contributions of Hon. Felicia Tettey.
She voiced their hope that if given the opportunity, Tettey would continue to empower women in the area both socially and economically.
