Hajia Fatahiya Abdul Aziz, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Savulugu Constituency, has successfully commissioned six mechanized boreholes in several localities, including Yilikpani, Nyoglo, Pon-Tamale, Gushee, Diare (Lagos), and Diare (Nayilifong).
During the commissioning ceremony, Hajia Fatahiya emphasized that this initiative is part of her commitment to ensuring access to potable drinking water for residents.
She highlighted the importance of reducing the long distances that women often have to travel to fetch water, thus alleviating some of their burdens.
She also mentioned that these boreholes complement the free water supply she has consistently provided to the constituency.
Residents of the beneficiary communities expressed their profound gratitude to Hajia Fatahiya for addressing this critical need, noting her proactive efforts even before officially assuming the role of Member of Parliament.
They pledged their unwavering support to elect her as the next MP for Savulugu, citing her dedication to ongoing development and her focus on addressing major challenges the area faces.
The commissioning event was attended by several dignitaries, including Hajia Ayishe Seidu, the Municipal Chief Executive for Savulugu, as well as constituency executives, polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and enthusiastic party supporters.
