The New Patriotic Party (NPP) voluntary group, known as Club 824, has launched an extensive community outreach across the Northern Region.
Under the leadership of Dr. Tanimu Osman, the Club comprises a diverse group of business leaders, career professionals, academics, technocrats, diplomats, and retired party activists hailing from the region.
The primary goal of this outreach initiative is to foster unity and mutual coexistence within the party, which is crucial in galvanizing support for the party’s presidential and parliamentary candidates.
With the upcoming elections on December 7, Club 824 aims to counteract voter apathy and mobilize as many supporters as possible.
During their interactions, the team has been visiting former and current party executives, patrons, elders, retired activists, and opinion leaders throughout the Northern Region.
Dr. Osman and his team have been emphasizing the importance of prioritizing party interests over personal grievances, urging all NPP members and supporters to unify for the common cause of achieving victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
In meetings held in key areas such as the Eastern Corridor, Tamale Metropolis, Kumbungu, and Savelugu constituencies, Club 824 members highlighted the positive reception for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia across the country, predicting a successful outcome in the upcoming elections.
They encouraged all current and past party executives to work diligently as a united front, ensuring the region supports Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy.
According to the group, the NPP has appointed a transformational leader willing to make bold decisions for the country’s progress.
They stressed the importance of disseminating a clear and coherent message to the public, calling on all party officials to ensure that their constituents understand this vision.
Club 824 also urged former and current executives, as well as leaders of women and youth groups and past internal election candidates, to let go of any grievances they may have and to cooperate with current executives.
The unity is essential for securing a strong victory in the upcoming elections.
Furthermore, the group appealed to regional and constituency executives to implement effective communication strategies to instill hope among party members at the grassroots level.
This initiative aims to combat misinformation, propaganda, and any negative narratives propagated by the opposition, particularly the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Through these efforts, Club 824 is determined to strengthen the NPP’s presence and influence in the Northern Region, striving for a successful electoral outcome in the near future.
