The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day- Saint Handover Renovated Boy’s Dormitory And Kitchen To Tamale Children’s Home

The leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has officially handed over a renovated boys’ dormitory and kitchen to the Tamale Children’s Home.

The ceremony was a heartfelt occasion, celebrating the successful completion of improvements aimed at enhancing the living conditions for the children at the facility.

Annunciata MZ Anglaaere, the Acting Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare for the Northern Region, expressed deep gratitude for the renovations.

The Acting Director emphasized the critical role the church’s assistance has played in creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for the children who reside at the Tamale Children’s Home.

“The renovated dormitory and kitchen will greatly improve their daily lives, providing them with a sense of dignity and hope for a brighter future,” she stated, noting the positive impact these facilities will have on the children’s well-being.

Elder Isaac K. Morrison, the Second Counsellor of the Africa West Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the West African area, delivering his address during the handover ceremony, reiterated the church’s commitment to seeking opportunities to assist communities throughout Tamale, Ghana, and West Africa.

Elder Morrison highlighted that the church’s humanitarian efforts extend globally and are made possible through the generous contributions of dedicated church members worldwide.

“As we hand over these renovated facilities, we do so with the hope that our donations will bless these children today and generations to come,” he remarked.

The handover of the renovated boys’ dormitory and kitchen signifies a significant investment in the welfare of the children at the Tamale Children’s Home, ensuring that they have access to improved living conditions and essential amenities.

In a related initiative, the leadership of the church also donated foodstuffs, detergents, and other consumables to the home.

These contributions reflect the church’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian efforts and community support in the Northern Region, demonstrating a dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable children in the area.
