Club 824, a voluntary group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has initiated an intensive community outreach across the Northern Region.
Comprising business professionals, diplomats, technocrats, career professionals, academics, and retired party activists from the region, the club aims to enhance engagement and support for the NPP as the elections approach.
The team has been actively visiting and interacting with former and current party executives, patrons, elders, retired activists, and opinion leaders throughout the region.

The primary goal of this initiative is to foster unity within the party, boost voter turnout, and mitigate voter apathy ahead of the upcoming elections.
Club 824 has already made significant strides in encouraging disgruntled party members from areas such as Savelugu, Nanton, and Bimbilla, who had initially considered running as independent candidates, to reconsider their plans and step down.
The group continues to work with others in the region who have filed as independents, urging them to follow suit in support of the party.
The club has made a heartfelt plea to all NPP members, supporters, and activists to prioritize party cohesion and set aside any grievances they may have against government officials or party leaders.
They have conducted meetings across the Eastern Corridor of the Northern Region, as well as in the Tamale Metropolis, Kumbungu, and Savelugu Constituencies.
During these engagements, Club 824 called upon all past and present executives to unite and ensure that the region contributes significantly to the success of Dr. Bawumia and NPP parliamentary candidates.
Additionally, the group emphasized the need for regional and constituency executives to establish effective communication strategies that counter the opposition’s misinformation and propaganda.
In a related development, Hon. Abubakari Issah, the Nanton Constituency Independent Candidate, recently announced his decision to withdraw from the race, stating that the intervention of Club 824 significantly influenced his choice.
In a press release copied to nasaratv.com, he declared his support for the NPP’s parliamentary candidate and incumbent, Hon. Hardi Tuferu, who serves as Deputy Minister for Agriculture.
Club 824’s commitment to fostering collaboration and support within the party demonstrates its dedication to an united front as they prepare for the electoral challenges ahead.
