Prof Kalamonia Leads Zonal Rally In Mankarigu To Mobilize Support For Bawumia And Samuel Tika.

Over the weekend, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, affectionately known as Prof. Kalamonia, the Savanna Regional NPP Chairman, led a delegation to a zonal rally in Mankarigu.

The team included the MP for Damongo and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, Mustapha Yussif , the Youth and Sports Minister, MP for Yagaba/Kubori , Incumbent MP for Daboya/ Mankarigu and Deputy Health Minister, Alhaji Sei Seini and Adam Eliasu Red-Bawa, the DCE for North Gonja and other party loyalists.

The rally aimed to mobilize votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the parliamentary candidate for the area, Samuel Yeyu Tika.

In his passionate address, Prof. Kalamonia called for unity and mutual coexistence among party members, particularly encouraging the supporters of the incumbent MP, Alhaji Sei Seini, to rally behind the elected parliamentary candidate, Samuel Yeyu Tika.

He emphasized that this unity is essential for retaining the parliamentary seat and ensuring a strong showing for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming December elections.

Prof. Kalamonia highlighted that the creation of the Savanna Region has ushered in unprecedented development projects and job opportunities.

He urged constituents to vote massively for the party’s presidential and parliamentary candidates to ensure the continuation of this progress.

Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, speaking at the rally, emphasized that Samuel Tika represents all tribes and does not discriminate, stating, “Whether you’re Fulani, Dagaba, Tampulima, Mamprusi, Gonja, Sissala, or Fulbe, Samuel Tika will be your Member of Parliament.”

He pointed out that the NPP has been the only party delivering development to the region, contrasting it with the NDC, which failed to create the Savanna Region during its years in power.

Jinapor also noted key development initiatives in the region, such as the ongoing construction of the Daboya Bridge, schools, roads, and hospitals.Additionally, he promised that electricity extension and the installation of streetlights in Mankarigu township will commence within two weeks.

Hon. Mustapha Yussif, the Minister for Youth and Sports and MP for Yagaba/Kubori, briefly addressed the crowd, announcing plans to transform the Mankarigu market into an ultra-modern facility.

This development aims to increase local economic activity, as many traders from across Ghana and neighboring West African countries patronize the market.

He urged constituents to support Dr. Bawumia and Samuel Tika in the upcoming elections.

Samuel Tika, the parliamentary candidate, expressed deep gratitude for the support from party members and the community.

He pledged to continue the development projects initiated by Alhaji Sei Seini, reinforcing his commitment to serving the people of Mankarigu.
