Over the weekends, the Sagnarigu Constituency NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Felicia Tettey, organized a grand health walk dubbed “Sagnarigu Felicia Tettey’s Mega Victory Walk.”

The event aimed to energize the party base and canvas votes for her candidacy alongside Dr. Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.

The walk witnessed a large turnout, including several party executives, Members of Parliament, parliamentary candidates, party loyalists, and sympathizers.

Participants began at the Tamale Technical University Park, proceeding through the principal streets of Choggu, Yapalsi, Gurugu, and concluded at the 1st November School Park.

During the event, the Member of Parliament for Bimbilla and Defence Minister made a passionate appeal to the constituents, urging them to elect Felicia Tettey for her demonstrated commitment to the development of the constituency.

He highlighted her extensive connections within the country and the international community, asserting that she is the right candidate to drive progress in Sagnarigu.

The Defence Minister also emphasized the importance of electing Dr. Bawumia as the first Muslim President of Ghana, referencing his roots within the Gbewaa lineage.

Hajia Safia Mohammed, the Deputy National Women’s Organiser, spoke on behalf of Mama Kate, the National Women’s Organiser.

She particularly encouraged women’s groups and beneficiaries of the Ghana School Feeding Programme to rally votes for Felicia Tettey, praising her immense contributions to the program.

She conveyed that electing both Dr. Bawumia and Felicia Tettey would enable them to continue initiatives that improve the lives of the underprivileged.

In her address, Hon. Felicia Tettey expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and participants for their unwavering support.She recounted her significant contributions to the development of the Sagnarigu Constituency over the years, which include providing electricity, drilling boreholes, donating startup kits, and empowering women.

Mrs. Tettey also highlighted her successful lobbying efforts, which have brought numerous development projects to the constituency, including the Jisonayili Market, Nag’begu Animal Market, and the rehabilitation of key roads like Sognaayili and Kpalsi Dimala and ongoing construction of AstroTurf at Hilaliya Park .

Concluding her address, Felicia Tettey made a passionate appeal to the constituents, urging them to elect both her and Dr. Bawumia so they can continue the development projects initiated in the constituency.
